Due to the postponement of the Annual Sprite Display Day, at the October General Meeting was a Sprite Display – with a difference!
Members had coloured in the Sprite paper cut-out models that were posted on the web site recently and displayed them at the meeting.
Comments ranged from where they had found some coloured pencils, to how they had glued the models together, and how much sticky tape was required.
Some were personalised to look like the owners own vehicles, with number plates, body colour, trim and even mag wheels! Some even made roads and cobblestone driveways – with the mandatory oil drip or two!
Winner of the night was Steve Kent’s Blue Bugeye, with the David and Di Low’s grand-daughter’s Rainbow Sprite in second place.
Thanks to all who participated with the Sprite Display – with a difference!
Here is the download if you would like to make one of these models.
