For those with a memory of the days of the F1 Grand Prix in Adelaide the Climb to the Eagle was an important part of the motoring events that supported the Circuit Action.
This tradition continues on the first Friday in November “The Climb” is marked in the calendar.
Tickets for the event have opened this week with only 250 spaces available.
Starting in front of the Heritage Grand Stand in Victoria Park “The Climb’ heads through the city, up past the Eagle on the Hill and onto Hahndorf for a morning tea with a guest speaker reminising on the days when Senna, Prost, Mansell, Schumacher and other drove the grand prix circuit.
You can always start at Sean Power’s “Breakfast on Duthy” “and join at Victoria Park.
If you do not wish to go to the morning tea we have booked a table at Beerenberg Farm Cafe where you can enjoy a coffee or brunch after the run to Hahndorf.
