With less that two weeks to go the 2026 National Challenge is almost here.

With final numbers now confirmed we have almost 100 Sprite and Midget members from all Mainland States including WA and Tasmania descending on Murray Bridge for a week of Spritely events.

Please find attached the latest Bulletin – that has been send directly to the attendees for the details of the first days activities.

If you haven’t entered, but would like to come for some of the daily events you are most welcome , with the following available:

Tuesday 28th April

08:30am – 10:30am | National Challenge Show ‘n’ Shine

Sturt Reserve, Murray Cods Drive, Murray Bridge.

The Show ‘n’ Shine will be the first event of the Challenge with Sprites, Midgets and Associate Vehicles on display for a People’s Choice Award.

This will be followed by a Social drive to the MG Nationals Concourse at the Oakbank Racing Club, 46 Oakwood Rd, Oakbank.

Wednesday 29th April

The Sprites and Midgets will be heading to Strathalbyn for a day of viewing all Strathalbyn has to offer, including cafes, car museums and show rooms, antique stores and the general surrounds.

For those with a competitive passion the Sprite and Midget Nationals will have the Super Sprint and Motorkhana at the The Bend Motorsport Park.

These events will be on the following days:

Wednesday 28th April – Super Sprint and Regularity Events

Thursday 29th April – Motorkhana

If you would like to help with any of the events over the week please contact the Nationals Committee.

And if you would like to visit the National Motor Museum at Birdwood you are welcome to put your Sprite or Midget (or clubman) on display from 11.00am on Friday 1st May.
