Reinhard Walker has been “surfing the ‘net” and discovered links in a Facebook page the following 3D Model of a Bugeye Sprite. This image is a great view of the correct bits that make up the Bugeye monocoque body. It also shows the rust holes that can affect the Sprites, particularly where the floor covering gets wet and creates issues with the floor.
Emma Jacobs (moderator of the MG Midget Owners Facebook group) provided a link to a 3-D model of a Bugeye bodyshell on the sketchfab.com website, as detailed below.

(Can be downloaded free from SketchFab website.)
To access the 3D model, you can either
- Link to Facebook page:

OR 2) Link to sketchfab website:
OR 3) Search for “59 Austin Healey Sprite (3-D model)” in Google
Click and drag to navigate 3-D views. If you happen to have a VR headset you can view in stereo VR.
Note: When viewing the 3-D model, click on “Fullscreen” for maximum impact.
When viewed in full screen mode on a 4K monitor the resolution is fantastic – I can see that the bodyshell has had lots of repairs.
Cheers,
Reinhard
PS: I would love to see Chat GPT generate a 3-D image from the original drawings!
