Our first event for 2022 will be the Australia Day Picnic and Thong Throwing Competition on Wednesday 26th January.
Due to the current COVID-19 restrictions we are unable to host this event at a private residence, therefore the Committee has determined we will hold the event in the grounds of the Fullarton Park Community Centre, 411 Fullarton Road, Fullarton Park.
We will be in the same area that we have the Christmas Picnic.
This will be a BYO Picnic Lunch, so please bring the following:
Picnic Lunch, Drinks, Chairs/table, etc
The Chabrels and Beatons will be provide some fresh Hills Produce for sweets.
An important and enjoyable part of the day will be the Thong Throwing Competition, which will be held in the early afternoon. The highly coveted John and Judy Bowering Memorial Trophy will be the just reward for the winning thong throw!
There are a few changes due to the COVID-19 requirements that we ask you to comply with:
- Please BYO Chairs, Drinks, Sunscreen, etc
- There will a COVID-19 Contact Tracing check-in – either via the QR code or Manual sign-in.
- Please maintain the usual social distancing and personal hygiene requirements.
- Please do not attend if you are unwell or have any of the recognised symptoms.
- Thank you for your support of these requirements to allow this event to proceed.
