Please see the attachment from the Registrar of Motor Vehicles regarding changes to the Seat Belt laws for Historic Vehicles.
While most of our vehicle have been fitted with seat belts, this specifically applies when children (or grandchildren) travel in the vehicle, where the appropriate seat belt or harness must be used.

I picked up on your website the “Changes to the Seat Belt Laws for 2019” which originally had an attachment of a DPTI release in January 2019. I’ve been telling the Morris Register that there was a tightening rule re children in historic vehicles issued back then, but nobody remembers it, except me, and even I’m unsure what it said. To save me stirring up the Govt or SAPOL, do you still have a copy of that attachment? If so, would you be so kind as to send me a copy. I’ve perused the Road Rule sites, but they aren’t as clear as they should be. Thanks and regards.
