Midweek Run – 11 June

Starting out at the Happy Valley Reservoir Carpark (0930), the run will take us to the Classic Motor Studio in Totness to look at the great array of cars there, before heading across to the Oakbank Hotel for lunch.

RSVPs are essential as we need to get a minimum number for the museum to be opened. Contact Gary on 0411 282 045 or gary@doddpc.com.

If we don’t hit the minimum before this Friday the run may have to be cancelled.

Midwinter Pub Run – 13 July

I’m keen to hear how many would be interested in a run to either Lot.100 or possibly the Victory Hotel (or another establishment someone may recommend) for a mid-winter lunch.

We did a run to the Victory Hotel in Sellicks last year for a $60 per head lunch and it was great! Lot100 have a $55 per head share meal that is fabulous too or you might have a hidden gem that we should head to for a winter warmer lunch run!

Peas, Pies, Pudding and Rocker Cover Racing – 30th August

We are reviving an old favourite this year and bringing Rocker Cover Racing back to the club and what great entertainment to have with our annual Pea and Pie night.

So this year its a night with a different. Angela has offered to add a third P to the menu … pudding! Just the thing for a cold mid winter night!!

RSVPs are essential as we have to buy the pies and make the soup (yes, its home made soup, not from a can and let me promise you, its great!)

$15 for a hot main and dessert that will warm you to your bones!

BYO softies and alcohol to share with friends, tea and coffee provided.

And start building your Rocker Cover Racer. I’ve put some information in the latest Burble but contact me if you need help. Basically, almost anything goes, so long as its base on a Rocker Cover (preferably an A Series but we can look the other way if its from a Grey Motor or similar) and meets the weight rule! I’ll put out some more information in the coming weeks.
