Sunday 30th May 2021 – Lunch Run to The Elephant Door \u2013 Sellicks Hill <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Sprite Club has been invited to visit The Elephant Door for a BYO Picnic Lunch. Run by Club Members Dean King and Susie Burgher this venue, set in historic vineyards, is used to host weddings, Bed’n’Breakfast and other gatherings. With views of the vineyards and the local surrounds, the open decks and enclosed areas will be a fine venue for our Picnic Lunch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The property is surrounded by grape vines that were planted during the 1960’s. These Shiraz, Cabernet and Grenache vines are hand pruned and the grapes are also hand picked. The grapes are used to make a limited quantity of certified organic Sellicks Chills wines. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meet at the Victoria Hotel Carpark, Main South Road, O\u2019Halloran Hill at 10.00am<\/strong>. We will departing at 10.30am.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The run will transverse a number of range and ridgetop roads through the Southern Vales, finishing up with an open run through the flat grazing lands, visiting Myponga Reservoir and the Sellicks Hill descent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
