The first Sprite Club Classic Sports Car<\/span><\/span> C<\/span><\/span>ruise<\/span><\/span> event  hit Adelaide<\/span><\/span>\u2019<\/span><\/span>s streets on Saturday last. With a turn up of 14 cars of vario<\/span><\/span>us marques<\/span><\/span>. The weather turned on<\/span><\/span> idyllic<\/span><\/span> conditions for top down motoring.<\/span><\/span>  The odd wave coming from dinner<\/span><\/span>s at curbside eateries. Our convoy<\/span><\/span> b<\/span><\/span>eca<\/span><\/span>me temporarily scattered as we had to navigate around closed off roads due to<\/span><\/span> horse trials in the east parklands. We  regroup<\/span><\/span>ed<\/span><\/span> <\/span> on Anzac highway and did a<\/span><\/span> reasonable job of clogging the road with<\/span><\/span> sports cars. After  a 1 hour drive<\/span><\/span> we gathered at K mart on Tapleys Hill road where Sprite club members voted Trevor Ha<\/span><\/span>wkins immaculate Triumph TR6 the most appealing car<\/span><\/span> and duly presented him with a trophy.<\/span><\/span> The whole thing was low key, informal<\/span><\/span>, very friendly<\/span><\/span> and<\/span><\/span> most enjoyable<\/span><\/span>. We learned from the experience and<\/span><\/span> everyone a<\/span><\/span>sked about next time which we will<\/span><\/span> organize<\/span><\/span> for a<\/span><\/span> Saturday evening in February.
