Now I KNOW that you have ALL read the latest Bugeye Burble<\/a> and you’re fingers are quivering with excitement to send me RSVPs for upcoming events but I thought I’d give you all a gentle reminder!<\/p>\n\n\n\n Sunday 27 July – Winter Warmers Pub Run<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Run down to the Langhorne Creek Winehouse for a 12 for 1230 lunch. Run will roll out from the car park near the Toll Gate at 1100 if the weather is nice. You can meet us there if its raining!<\/p>\n\n\n\n I do need an RSVP as I need to pay a per head deposit on the 17th. Email me (spriteclubsa@gmail.com) or text me on 0431 247 746. I have a maximum of 20 for the meal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n $45<\/em> per head for a two course meal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 30 August 25 -Peas, Pies and Rocker Cover Racing<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n If you haven’t let us know if you are coming, please do as we need to order the food!<\/p>\n\n\n\n $15<\/em> for a meal and we will be racing for sheep stations with the rocker cover racing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Now, I have been asked about racers that might not conform so I’m going to bend and run the event in line with (some) of the Sporting Car Club<\/a> rules, ie, three classes – (1) LEGAL rocker cover racers (as per the rules laid down in the Bugeye Burble, (2) Tonka Trucks and we will allow Matchbox\/Hotwheel Cars and (3) Completely illegal racers. They must <\/span>fit on the track and only be powered by gravity. A legal racer also must weigh in at less than 3kg<\/em> and I may bring my scales with me!<\/p>\n\n\n\n If you can’t find an A Series rocker cover we will allow any rocker or cam shaft cover.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 13 September 2025 – Annual Dinner<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n We may have located a suitable venue – the food was good last night, we are just finalising the cost. We will need people to pay at least 5 days prior so we can transfer the money to the venue. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Cost per person will be $65 for three courses (shared platters, a choice of mains and dessert). Annual prizes, quiz night and fund raising raffles. <\/p>\n\n\n\n We need at least 50 people to come along otherwise its unaffordable so let us know if you are coming ASAP<\/p>\n\n\n\n That’s about all for now!<\/p>\n\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Good evening all.
