In a Mk1 Bugeye Sprite<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lucas Tungsten bulbs<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lighting up the Night<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Horns on Midgets sound<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Blinkers flashing bright<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What fun it is to ride and sing<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Spritely song to night<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

Midgets Rule, Sprites are Cool<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Clubmans lead the way<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Oh, what fun it is to drive<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On a summer Christmas night, hey<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jingle bells, Tappets yell<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The clearances are out<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If Father Christmas needs some help.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We\u2019ll call the Sprite Club out.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

A day or two ago<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I thought we\u2019d take a ride<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And soon, with fading light<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Sprite was rolled outside<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The car was lean and clean<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But misfortune struck us low<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The fuel pump did fail to tick<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So in an Uber we did go<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Jingle Bells, Petrol Smells<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The SUs failed to fire<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We couldn\u2019t have any fun that night<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As something was quite dire,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alfas Rule, Midgets are cool,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fords they rust away<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We\u2019d hope to take a ride that night,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But we ended in an old FJ!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

A day or two ago<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The story I must tell<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I went back to the car<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And on my back I fell<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As I looked across<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The problem I did see<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And once it had been rectified<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We could quickly drive away<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Blue cars rule, red cars drool<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The engine\u2019s fired up<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Oh, what fun it will be to ride<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In a pale blue car tonight, (right??)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jingle bells, something smells<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The oil\u2019s sprung a leak<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Oh, what fun it is to fix<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Spridget late in the week<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Now all the hills are green<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The A Series burbles on<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The wind whips through our hair<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We sing this Sprite-ing song<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Drop it down a gear<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Around the bend we fly<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Listen to the intake roar<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And race off into the night<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Jingle all the way<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Oh, what fun it is to ride<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Mk1 Sprite all day, hey<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jingle all the way<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If Santa needs a lift tonight <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We can help him on his way!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n
