Welcome to the Sprite Club of South Australia’s official pages for the 2026 Sprite and Midget National Challenge. The Sprite and Midget Nationals, aka, The National Challenge 26, aims to bring Sprite and Midget owners from around Australia together on the picturesque banks of the River Murray for a week of touring, racing, great food and wine, and some of South Australia’s stunning scenery.

And, of course, a couple of Austin Healey Sprites and Midgets!

Date: 27 April to 1 May 2026

Location: Murray Bridge, South Australia

The event is being staged in parallel with the MG Car Club 2026 National Meeting, with the Sprite Clubs and the MG Clubs of Australia coming together on the track for a day of ‘super sprint’ style racing, followed by a day of Motokhana-ing, all held at the world class The Bend Motorsport Park. A combined display day, bringing together the Sprites and Midgets from all the clubs is in the works. Stay tuned for more details!
